Chris Fanger remodeled our master bath. The original tub and stand alone shower were on one side of the bathroom next to each other, occupying the entire length of the wall. I would constantly bump my elbows and "bum" against the shower enclosure. What I admired about Chris is his ability to create extra space, significantly expanding the floor space of the shower without having to compromise on the tub size. The master bath is on the 2nd floor. We had areas around the old shower where water infiltrated into the drywall behind the enclosure causing mold growth. After removing the old shower, Chris replaced all drywall with mold resistant material plus coated all surfaces including the wood framing. His cement mix for the flooring beneath the stone pebble shower floor was formulated to resist water and mold, then coated on top of that. When he saw some roaches behind the drywall, he spread traps to eliminate them before putting in the new wall. I love the extra mile Chris takes to ensure his work is exemplary, yet his pricing was very reasonable. We made some changes along the way, but Chris did not nickel and dime me for them. I would definitely use him for any home renovation/improvement project. Jim

Chris and Oak Hills Construction was amazing! Was thinking about a back porch for a few years and reached out to a few people. He was upfront and honest. Even helped with the HOA process and handling the city permitting! He was very easy to talk too and he had a good eye for the project. Our slab added on was 12x34 ft. And the covering was 26x12 ft.

We worked with Chris and his team to transform our ugly, slanted backyard with dying grass to an incredible place our family could enjoy. Originally I felt bad for him as my wife is a perfectionist and never shy to let someone know they have not met her bar, but Chris and his team not only met her bar they exceeded it. Every step of the way Chris and his team were deeply engaged to every detail. The project came out perfect and exceeded all of our expectations. Chris and his team were so great we are actually sad the project is over and we wont be seeing them daily anymore. Covered deck build project - Chris and his crew did AMAZING! Chris was very collaborative, he and his team were very communicative throughout, they did a thorough, quality job that you could tell they wanted to be proud of. Chris and his Oak Hills crew replaced my bay windows with a sliding glass door. We added a pool last year so this totally made sense. Chris was awesome. I could reach him any time I needed to, I've used others who would just vanish and I couldn't reach them. Chris is very hands on. His guys did AMAZING work. Had three contractors come out and try to over sell what was needed to make an existing shower wheelchair accessible. Oak Hills Construction found an affordable solution and paid for an accessible bathroom door ON THEIR DIME! I had a VA grant budget and they stayed within the budget and gifted me the door! Good folks and they did excellent work. My only suggestion would be to work on their communication with their clients, that said they did everything and more to help me. Highly recommend.

Chris and team are awesome! They did our backyard patio extension and it came out great! They also added a sidewalk by our driveway as our driveway was too narrow and we were stepping onto the lawn when getting out of the cars causing the grass to die there and just making a mess. They also added a slab for our 3 garbage cans with a privacy fence on the side of the house so we didn't have to wheel them all the way from the other side of the house as they were in the backyard prior. I called them back again for another smaller job which was removing the rotten wood expansions joints and filling them with a flexible leveling caulk and then adding a sand topcoat to make it look more like concrete than caulk, came out great!!!

When the strong winds came in, it knocked our side fence right off. Luckily, I called Chris from Oak Hills Construction and he had someone come out and give us a quote same day. Timely service is so appreciated because we have 3 dogs we need to keep contained in the backyard. They were able to repair it the very next week, did a solid job, and were reasonably priced. A very professional company - they installed shiplap in our living room for a beautiful accent wall and also painted it. We live in an older home, and needed to convert the unfinished upstairs area into a 3rd bedroom for our son.
